During the course of delivering our service, it is probable that several team members will be involved in supporting the project. The handoff process from one team member to another is a critical juncture where misunderstandings and oversights can occur. It is not uncommon for two individuals to mistakenly assume that the other has completed a crucial task, leading to unmet client expectations.
To prevent such issues, it is imperative that the handoff steps are clearly defined and communicated. Effective communication and documentation at each handoff point can ensure that all necessary tasks are completed and that the client's expectations are consistently met.
